Some move straight to installation, while others require consultation, design, or planning before final pricing.

1. Initial Inquiry / Budgetary Estimate

Send photos, inspiration images, measurements, or project details.

Simple projects with clearly defined scope may receive a general installation estimate at no charge.

Examples:

Mulch refreshes, Hedge installations, Basic planting projects, Simple landscape upgrades

Typically $125–$250

For projects requiring site analysis, plant recommendations, layout guidance, troubleshooting, or more detailed planning.

May include:

On-site walkthrough, Follow-up recommendations, Plant/material guidance, Budget planning, Drainage or screening ideas

Consultation fees may be credited toward larger design or installation projects.

Typically $250–$1,500+

For projects requiring layouts, planting plans, visual concepts, HOA submissions, or detailed planning.

Options may include:

Concept layouts, Planting plans, Visual mockups, Material palettes, Detailed installation plans

Scaled plans may require an existing survey.

Design fees may be credited in part toward installation projects.

Typically $350–$1,000+

For larger or more complex projects involving:

Architectural plans, Specialty plant sourcing, Grading/drainage coordination, Material takeoffs, Vendor coordination, Extensive estimating

Preconstruction fees may be credited toward installation if the project is awarded to Janscapes.

Once scope and materials are finalized, installation is scheduled based on deposit, material availability, and project timeline.

Services may include:

Plant sourcing & delivery, Layout & installation, Grading & bed preparation, Mulching & finishing details, Cleanup & haul-off
